A week with clear purposes
Use the team meeting to address shared priorities and decisions. Use pipeline review to inspect customer progress and forecast risk. Use individual meetings for coaching and performance. These purposes can share a meeting where sensible, but they should not disappear into a long round of status updates.
Preparation that leads to decisions
For a material opportunity, know the buyer’s problem, stakeholders, current evidence, next agreed step and remaining uncertainty. Name what the seller needs from the manager. After the discussion, preserve the decision and owner in the working system so next week starts from what actually changed.
A founder who can see without carrying everything
Provide a concise leadership view: what moved, what is stuck, how the forecast changed and which decisions require the founder. The manager owns follow-through between updates. Adjust the cadence to selling complexity, team maturity and actual management demand rather than copying an enterprise reporting routine.
